Zhang Jianhua pointed out that in the future, we will continue to improve the cleaning level of terminal energy, and thoroughly implement the replacement of electric energy. By 2025, electric energy will account for 30% of terminal energy consumption. We will actively promote the development of green energy use models such as low-carbon transportation and building photovoltaic integration, and actively explore new ways and approaches to replace fossil energy such as green hydrogen, methanol and ammonia energy. 

The installed capacity of renewable energy in China this year exceeded 1.1 billion kW, according to Zhang Jianhua, director of the National Energy Administration, at the 2022 Global Energy Transition Forum, which was co-hosted by the National Energy Administration and four other ministries and commissions and the Beijing Municipal government on Sept 17. At the forum, a total of 18 major projects in the energy field were signed. It is known that among the 18 contracted projects, there are 4 major projects of hydrogen energy, energy storage and carbon sequestration cultivation frontier track, mainly including the Beijing R&D headquarters project of China Huaneng Huaqing Chuchuang and the hydrogen fuel cell production line project of Haidriver Company.
